Rob is entirely self-taught and has developed his style through photographing a wide variety of landscapes and seascapes found within the UK  particularly those found in East Anglia’s beautiful natural area.

He considers photography to be an art form believing that capturing a moment in time, the ever-changing intensity, colour and direction of light can bring about a change of mood of that moment.  He seeks to respond to the basic power of light that continuously alters the shape and form of images and by making further modifications through focus, exposure and shutter speed, tools that are particularly available to photographers he is able to  turn a quick snap into an image that captures something uniquely special. As a consequence, some of his images capture a moment in time that can be described as “as is” whereas others could be ethereal, dreamlike or even “artful.”
