Woodland Walk

Falling within the scope of my “going local” project is Hockham Woods so a walk in this area was arranged. I was really surprised at the photographic opportunities that I was able to find within a short walk of the car park.  I took this image with my Fujifilm X-T20 camera fitted with a Fuji 30mm f2.0 lens and was really pleased how it performed.

Recently I read an article advising photographers that when photographing in a wooded area  do not look for the trees but look for the compositions instead. I found this was really good advice and took advantage of the beautiful Norfolk woodland to capture numerous images where there were some excellent compositions.

As a footnote I also discovered that the area was noted for its fine dining arrangements. Believe me when I say I was bit to bu**ary by what seems like hundreds of ravenous mosquitos and have the blisters to prove it.
