Going With The Flow

A beautiful late spring day saw a hardy group of fellow “Shedders” know as “The Shutterists” take to the water at Wroxham for a leisurely cruise along the River Bure deep in the heart of Norfolk..

During our voyage were were treated to warm sunshine that lit the woodlands and gardens of houses situated on both sides of the river giving us good views of indigenous fauna and flora. Glimpses of herons, buzzards, red kites were seen and the occasional sound of birds singing in the reeds and woods all added to the  occasion where we could take a breath and relax in the moment.

All of a sudden we found ourselves at the extreme end of of our up-river  cruise where, coincidently,  there was an excellent pub serving tasty morsels and refreshing liquids.  Suitably revitalised we began our journey back to Wroxham, once more enjoying the passing scenery and tranquillity of the beautiful River Bure.

My group of fellow travellers were all members of Wayland Men’s Shed, who have formed an interest group and take their cameras or binoculars on a monthly walk to locations in and around Norfolk and Suffolk. We’re often described as being like the men in Last of the Summer Wine only we’re on steroids!!!!
