Walking Local

Thinking about local walks
I’ve been mulling over where to explore next following my last blog and my mind wandered back to a walk I did last November (2019) with another photographer. We decided to walk along the banks of the Little Ouse near to the village of Stanton Downham.
On arrival at the location shortly before dawn we noticed that the river was shrouded in mist but could see that the sky was clear of cloud. So, because of the orientation of the river, as the sun rose through the mist it flooded the whole scene with an incredible golden hue. Then by chance, and to add to the picture a pair of mute swans floated into view.
I felt privilaged to have been at the location and witness this fleeting event and capture this incredible scene.
